We picked Designscapes of Long Island to help us with our backyard design and are Beyond elated. Their professionalism and attention to detail was Simply Amazing. We recommend that anybody who is redoing your backyard, front yard or garden. Utilize Dan, the owner of Designscapes, to help plan and construct their project. He was extremely patient, extremely diligent and very attentive to our recommendations and what we envisioned.

I have the highest regard for Dan; he is a consummate professional and will always try to do the right thing in his effort to custom design a beautiful landscape for his clients. Unfortunately, Dan chose to use Cambridge stones and pavers for our job and the result was disappointing, to say the least, as hundreds and hundreds of white dots have appeared on the surface of these stones and have ruined what otherwise would have been a terrific job. Kudos to the Cambridge rep, Chuck who tried to remedy the problem with his own labor, but the majority of white dots remain....End result: definitely use Dan for your job; do not use Cambridge...or any other paving stone company that fails to alert you to the possibility of this occurrence.

I decided to write a review for Designscapes of Long Island because of the wonderful experience we had with them. After getting our cesspool replaced, our backyard was a mess. After doing a Google search for my area, we called many different landscapers and had a handful of estimates. The owner Dan came himself to do the estimate and we could just tell that he was so much more knowledgeable than the others. He educated us about roots and gave us so many great ideas. His communication before, during, and after the project was amazing.
